Last Days of Summer

There are those few days that it is still warm enough to go down to the beach. This was one of those days. There was a lot of smoke in the air due to a fire in Thousand Oaks / Simi Valley. SO the color of the light was really warm and rich. Any way you can see the rest of the Photos Here

Today I went and took some photos at a creek I spotted last weekend with Cheryl. It was a nice spot and I will probably go back again. I want to go further on the road as well. I think there is a lake back there but I did not see it. Right up the road is a nice campground, We need to go camping soon!

Computer Grave Yard

So I went down to the "Mac Mechanic" Today. Oh man, did they ever have a crap load of old Macs out front. I Stoped, and just had to get a picture. I took it so you can see the scale of things. I talked to one of the Guys that works there, and he told me that as long as he has worked there, there has been a door that has never opened. Today they opened that door. Hw said It looked like a Rat's sex club. I guess thats because it was quiet, and no one ever went in there. So the rats used it to breed.... eck!



Mike the owner looked at all of the systems and thought, man what a waste! I'm sure some where in the world there is someone that can use this. He was going to check into it. But some of it needed at least a day to breathe! All of the guys had to wear respirators becuse of all the dust and Vermin kaka.

Freakin Great!!!!

So I went to change out an epson printer today and the Damn thing leaked on Me. Not just a little but a crap load! Not to mention it destroyed my best Ben Sherman Shirt!!

Icon set I have been working on. There Are a few more but anyway nothing else much going on. Maybe go see Lord of War this weekend.

Hitchhikers Guide

Just saw the Movie tonight on DVD. Its pretty cool. I like the way it was done. It seemed shorter than I expected, but I guess it just went by fast because there was a lot to look at. It had a pretty good sense of humor, definitely not dumb humor but it had it's share of that as well. But not over done.

Multiple Effect with the 20D

So today I went out looking to try an experiment. In theroy it sounded easy and it turns out that it is very easy. Using the burst on the 20D I went to the Skateboard park. There I found the subjects. SO after about 5-6 trys this is the effect I got. Its All the same action shot on burst mode then thrown into PhotoShop. It really doesn't take very long to do, and the results are worth it.

So next I think I need to get Kai to do some canon ball's into the Pool, that should look really cool!

Waxed the Mini Today!

So Today I spent 4 hours on the Mini Waxing it with "Zaino"


The system Kicks Major Ass. It looks like They just Painted it and it is almost a year old! They have a new Cleaner Polish called "PC" it smells like lime and removes all stains and micro scratches in the paint. It left my Black top totally flawless. Draw Back is it takes a bit of time.

Movies Tonight

So we went to go see the Excorsism of Emily Rose. It was far better than I expected. Not a Horror Movie more of a psycological move. Any way its not the Point. We paid 9.50 each to see it, and there were at least 150 13-15 year olds there as well. My god what a play pen! Once you got passed the constant Talking, cell phone ringing, Giggleing, running up and down the isles and Stairs. You still had to deal with the four 14 year old boys who when they wern't talking about who just texted them, were screaming just like a teen age girl, NO KIDDING I HAD TO TURN AROUND TO LOOK!.

We were walking out of the theater, and a lady that was tolerating the scene in the row in front of us stopped us. She told us that they were giving out free tickets to those of us that actually went to the Movie to watch it, but couldn't because of all the ruckus. We went up and the Manager was quite nice and we got two free tickets to either come back and see it in peace or see another movie on them! Very Cool of them.

Any way I would say from 1-10

I would give it a 6

Anyway we just got back fro a cool trip with our nieces.. We had a blast and went non-stop for three days straight! all of that and we didn't even get to ride a Cable Car. Oh well next time we will.
